Last Weekend Nick & I were married!

It was the best day of my life!!!

Everyone keeps asking me what was my favorite part of the weekend?

As a wedding planner, planning a wedding comes easy to me and planning is work...so the planning process was fun but it was A LOT of work!

My most favorite part of the entire weekend was when I walked into the chapel and saw Nick for the first time!

Most of the time you hear brides say it goes by way too fast...that is true it does go by fast but my only advice is to take it all in and enjoy EVERY SINGLE MINUTE of it!!

I did just that and the ceremony was truly the best! The words from the pastor, the vows that Nick and I wrote to each other the music and looking out and seeing all of our family and closest friends there! That was MAGICAL!

The rest was just the Icing on the Cake!

I can truly say that Nick and I had the BEST week of our lives and we were so fortunate to share this special time in our lives with so many friends and our families!

We thank you all for being there and being apart of our wedding!

I have so many pictures I don't even know where to begin!

I will try to break the photos down into categories but wanted to put some photos up as I noticed everyone has photos up but ME! :) :)

So enjoy these and I promise when I get all caught up on work, sleep, sanity and photo organization I will post more photos!!!

Dad's Birthday Dinner at Paul Martin's in Roseville

My Dad Celebrated his birthday on September 1st.

Nick and I were in Tahoe (See Photos Below)

So on our way down the mountain we met my mom & dad at Paul Martin's in Roseville!

We had such a great dinner and a great visit with my mom & dad!

It is so fun to live so close and we are able to do things together and spend special days together!

Dad, Nick and I wish you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We love you very much and we hope you have a fabulous year! Thanks for sharing your birthday with us!

Nick & I went up to Tahoe last week for the Labor Day Holiday!

We had so much fun.

Our really good friends Greg & Erin flew out from Scottsdale, Arizona and we got to spend some time with them!

We had such a great trip! We miss Erin and Greg so much but we are so lucky this month because we get to see them twice! We will see then in 2 weeks at the wedding and we will get to meet there son Carter!!!

Thanks Erin & Greg for a great time in Tahoe!

We look forward to the annual Dolata*McLeskey*Chensky Labor Day Trip!

We also got to see my cousin Kristin and Dominic! They came over for the day to hang out with us!! Dom is so much fun and is getting so big and so cute! We just love him!!

It was so great to go and see the Ritz project up in Northstar! So many of our Colorado friends were there as they are all working on opening The new Ritz! We just found out that my old GM Allen Highfield is going to be the GM at the Ritz in Northstar!! So exciting. We love Allen and his wife Sam! They are actually the reason I moved to NYC! You never know...Tahoe might be in the McLeskey-Dolata's future!!!

We had it on the Patio at The Brick in Marysville. It is so pretty there!

It was so great to see my friends, family and family friends!

"Life is Like a Box of Chocolates...You Never Know What You Are Going to Get"

So Cocoa Bella Chocolates is one of my most favorite chocolate stores!

I just love going to Cocoa Bella and I always get the yummy mushroom that is in the bottom right corner! It is so delish! It has caramel and vanilla and some delicious crunchy thing inside.

What I love about chocolates is seriously unless you have had them before you never know what you are going to get! It can be surprise and delight or surprise and yuck I am throwing it away!

Life has a way of being the same way...you just don't know what you are going to get!

Sometimes you are surprised and delighted and other times you are surprised and shocked, or surprised and disappointed! I tend to gravitate towards SURPRISE and DELIGHT! 

However we all know that life isn't always that way but we take the good with the bad!

As Always I prefer the GOOD!!!

Last night Nick and I went to Winters to see Emarie and Nick. Next weekend Emarie and Nick are getting married in Winters! It is going to be the EVENT OF THE YEAR! Em is transforming a walnut orchard into her wedding reception! I cannot wait share all the photos! I am so excited!

So I met with Emarie yesterday as I am going to help her with her wedding and coordinate it for her! I couldn't let her pay for someone to do this when this is what I do for a living! Plus she is one of my BESTEST friends!

So we went and walked the venue which is stunning and then Nick & Emarie, Phoebe and her Nick and Nick and I picked up Meika Em's sister in Davis and went to Sophias (FABULOUS THAI FOOD IN DAVIS) and had dinner and some cocktails! It was such a great night and it was so great to be with our friends! 

Em & Nick...My Nick and I are so excited for you two and so happy to have you as our very dear friends! We can't wait to share your special day with you next weekend!!!
