The Bar at Elways inside The Ritz-Carlton Denver, this is where I was literally standing 1 foot away from Kobe Bryant and the entire LAKER team after the creamed the Nuggets!!!

So one of the highlights of our trip thus far was going to the New Ritz-Carlton, Denver.

The Hotel is Amazing it is so beautiful and Hip all at the same time! We got to see a lot of our friends that we use to work with at The Ritz in Bachelor Gulch so that was fun. 

When we walked into Elways I looked over and I was Like HOLY TOLEDO that is Kobe Bryant...then I looked around the table and I was like that is the entire TEAM! So funny as I never really recognize famous people but you couldn't miss a table full of men over 6ft 5inches tall...so that was kinda neat...the kid in me wanted to ask for an autograph and wanted to because at the Ritz you would be fired for asking any famous person for an autograph! So thought it would be fun to do it in "THE RITZ" as I use to work there and it would still sort of feel as though I was "Breaking the Rules" ha ha...

Anyway...we are up in Vail now and having a great time! There is more snow then you could possibly imagine for this time of year! We have got a lot done for the wedding but I have just realized how much more there really is to do! AYE AYE AYE!

I am starting to get really excited though!

We are staying with our friends Taralyn & Tracy and their kids and having a great time as usual! We just love spending time with the Walters Family!!!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

Last Friday night Nick took me to the Giants game! We had so much fun!

We were in the Deigo Suite at the Ballpark and that was really cool...it was full of food and of course drinks as they are Nick's Beverage Supplier for the Hotel! It was so fun! The Giants played the Reds and they won so all the better! The evening was just amazing and the weather was beautiful!

I hope we go again soon!

Can you even believe we have known each other for 27 Years? Where does the time go?

We have had so much fun over the years. We have been through the best of times and hard times and we are always there for each other no matter what it is! You are one of my bestest friends and I am so happy we have remained friends for all these years!

I could list a million memories and you would tell me..."I can't believe you remember that"

Remember when you wrote me 5 letters and sent them to me at church camp so I would get one every day while I was gone? Do you remember when my grandma would take us to the park as kids to play? How about the time my grandma's car smelled like fish and you asked her what she had for dinner and she said BEEF....ROAST BEEF! HA...or...how about when I use to call you Maimie Miller because my grandma had a friend named Maimie Miller and I thought that was a great name for you! ( I THINK IT DROVE YOU NUTS) or how about that phase you went through when you made me do EVERYTHING for you because everything was too embarassing...!!! Or how about the time you left the mixing bowl, ranch dressing container and towel on my mom's front porch(I still don't think she knows why)! HA HA  Great times!!!!

So many great times and memories! I am so excited for all the years to come!

Here's to 32 Great Years.....and 27 years of Friendship....(I have known you since the 5th grade!!!) Ha ha not really since we were 5!

For the past few years there has been no snow...now there is too much and they are trying to get rid of it so they can open the golf course! Too Much!

So I surprised Nick with a little get away over to St. Helena to Meadowood Resort & Spa.

We had such a fun day and evening. Nick had No idea where we were going and it was so relaxing and fun to get away in our own backyard. Meadowood is so beautiful. They have a golf course, croquet lawn and tennis..not to mention there cute spa! It isn't really big but it is very relaxing and it was just what Nick and I needed! We have some more exciting news to announce very soon! We are NOT pregnant!!! :) Soon...but we have to wait for our wedding!

Truly This Photo Has Meaning....

Ok...So this is hilarious! I was going through my photos on my computer tonight and I came across all these different photos of this fabric swatch. It was so funny because Nick took these photos for me so we could have the swatch color of my bridesmaid dresses and we had to send this swatch back to the bridal salon because I have only asked for 9 months to get a fabric sample and I would pay for it and of course still don't have one so...Nick took photos so we would have it! Soooo funny it is too bad the color isn't the color in real life. In this photo it looks peach but it is more of a shimmery burnt orange! Anyway...I thought it was cute so I had to share!!!
