One of my New Year's Resolutions was to get involved in a chairity. I am so fortunate to be helping with Lunafest this weekend!!!! About LUNAFEST™LUNAFEST is a national traveling festival of short films by...for...about women. LUNAFEST runs from October-March, in that time it is shown by more than 100 venues nationwide and is seen by over 20,000 viewers, each ticket sold raises money for Breast Cancer Fund and local nonprofit organizations.LUNAFEST films are pulled from the top festivals across the nation including Tribeca, the Los Angeles Short Film Festival, and London International Film Festival. Where does the money raised go?LUNAFEST donates the proceeds generated at each screening to the Breast Cancer Fund and the local nonprofit host organizations. 15% of the proceeds of each festival go to the Breast Cancer Fund.
